Who We Are

What We Believe

At Shamar Preparation and Training, we believe that church emergency planning and security are not just procedural necessities but a sacred calling rooted in Scripture. The name Shamar (שָׁמַר), a Hebrew verb meaning “to guard,” “to keep,” “to watch over,” and “to preserve,” reflects our mission to protect the congregation entrusted to us.

In the Bible, Shamar is an active, vigilant responsibility. This concept extends beyond spiritual implications and includes the physical well-being of the church community. As those who are called to keep and watch over His people, we are entrusted with safeguarding not only the spiritual health of our congregations but also their physical safety, ensuring a secure environment where ministry can thrive.

What Makes Us Special

We integrate practical, scenario-based training with real-world lessons drawn from law enforcement, military, and emergency management experience, aligned with FEMA guidelines and industry best practices.

Each module is structured to be engaging and actionable, enabling teams to internalize principles quickly and apply them under pressure. By combining professionalism with a ministry-centered mindset, we help churches cultivate a culture of readiness that protects both people and ministry.
